Heartfelt Condolences for Xylie Hutchinson

With heavy hearts, we share the tragic passing of Ms. Xylie Hutchinson, of Logan, Utah, who died following a devastating car accident on Sunday, November 23, 2025. Her death has left her family, friends, teammates, and the entire Cache Valley Hockey community in profound grief.
Xylie was just beginning to blossom into her teenage years, yet she had already made a remarkable impact on the sport she loved. She came up through CVAHA and this year proudly played for the Cache Valley Wild high school hockey team, as well as the all-girls high school team. Her passion for hockey extended beyond playing, as she was also serving her second year as an official, where her enthusiasm and joy were evident to everyone who watched her on the ice.
Known as a fierce defender of her teammates and a loyal friend off the ice, Xylie embodied the spirit of teamwork, resilience, and compassion. Her presence brought energy and light to every game, and her dedication to the growth of Northern Utah Hockey will be remembered as part of her lasting legacy.
The details of her accident are heartbreaking, and her sudden death is a reminder of how fragile life can be. Yet, even in this time of sorrow, the community is rallying together to support her family. Efforts are underway to raise funds to help cover funeral expenses and medical bills, reflecting the love and solidarity of those who were touched by her life.
