It is with the utmost sadness that we announce the death of Traci Loring Timmerman, age 55, of West Des Moines, who passed away on Sunday, November 23, 2025, at the Southeast Iowa Regional Hospice House in West Burlington. Her passing has left her family, friends, and community deeply saddened, as they mourn the loss of a woman remembered for her vibrant spirit, her love of music, and her devotion to those she cherished.

Born on October 11, 1970, in Burlington, Traci was the beloved daughter of Edward Charles and Diane Slocum Timmerman. She graduated from Burlington High School in 1989, continued her education at SCC in 1997, and later earned her degree from AIB in Des Moines in 1999. Her commitment to learning reflected her determination and resilience, qualities that defined her throughout her life. Traci was a passionate fan of 80’s rock and roll, with a special love for the band Kiss. She found joy in attending concerts, where music became not only entertainment but also a source of inspiration and connection. Beyond her love of music, Traci adored her cats, Phoebe and Daisy, who brought her comfort and companionship.

She is survived by her mother, Diane Timmerman of Burlington, her very special aunt, Becky Galloway, and many friends who were like sisters to her. She was preceded in death by her father, Edward Timmerman, whose memory she carried with her always.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 28, 2025, from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM, with the family receiving friends from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Prugh Funeral Service, 3940 Division Street. In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established for the Southeast Iowa Regional Hospice and the ALS Association, honoring Traci’s compassionate spirit and her desire to support meaningful causes.

Sierra Leone’s football community is mourning deeply, as his passing has left family, teammates, and fans heartbroken.

Bureh’s journey was one of promise and dedication. He proudly represented his nation on the football field, showcasing not only his skill but also his passion for the game. His commitment to excellence and his determination to rise above challenges made him a role model to many aspiring athletes. Sadly, his career was interrupted months ago when he suffered a head injury while on national team duty, and despite his courage and resilience, his life has now come to a premature end.

Beyond his talent, Bureh will be remembered for his humility, his bright spirit, and the joy he brought to those around him. He was more than a player—he was a son, a friend, and a source of inspiration to his community. His absence leaves a void that cannot be filled, but his legacy will live on in the hearts of those who admired him both on and off the pitch.

It is with the utmost sadness that we announce the death of Tamara Parry, who passed away peacefully in her sleep after a fast and courageous battle with ovarian cancer. Her passing leaves her family, friends, and community deeply heartbroken, yet inspired by the remarkable strength and unwavering faith she demonstrated throughout her journey.

Tamara was more than a beloved mother, daughter, and friend—she was a hero to those who knew her. She fought bravely, never losing sight of her devotion to Jesus Christ, testifying of Him at all times and in all places. Her earthly ministry was marked by compassion, resilience, and love, and now she begins her heavenly ministry, continuing to watch over her loved ones as their guardian angel. Her life was a testament to faith and perseverance. Even in the face of illness, Tamara’s spirit remained unshaken. She embodied courage and grace, offering comfort and encouragement to those around her. Her legacy will live on through the countless lives she touched, the lessons she imparted, and the love she shared so freely.

A Celebration of Life will be held in her honor on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1655 S Del Sol Ave, Sierra Vista, AZ 85635. Family, friends, and community members are invited to gather in remembrance of Tamara’s extraordinary life and to celebrate the faith and love that defined her journey.
