Mitchell was the proud Owner and Operator of Higdon’s Haul Away LLC, where his hard work and dedication reflected his character. A graduate of Raymore-Peculiar Senior High, he remained deeply connected to his hometown, where he built lasting friendships and earned the respect of neighbors and colleagues alike.
Those who knew Mitchell describe him as the kind of person who embodied the phrase, “to know him is to love him.” He was genuine, approachable, and always willing to check in on others, even years after life had taken people in different directions. His ability to make anyone feel like a friend was one of his most remarkable qualities.
Friends recall fond memories of Mitchell’s adventurous spirit, including late-night drives in his parents’ Camaro, filled with laughter and youthful freedom. These stories, often retold by Mitchell himself, became cherished reminders of his lighthearted nature and his gift for creating joy in simple moments.
