With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Mr. Glenn Lawrence, who died peacefully, surrounded by the family who loved him so deeply. His death has left an irreplaceable void, yet his legacy of strength, kindness, and love will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew him.
Glenn was more than a father, husband, and friend—he was a guiding light. His influence shaped the lives of his children and family, teaching them what truly matters in life. Through his example, he showed that strength is found in perseverance, kindness in everyday actions, and love in the way we care for one another. His lessons, memories, and unwavering devotion will continue to inspire those he leaves behind. Family and friends recall Glenn as a man of integrity and compassion. He was someone who could be counted on, who offered wisdom without judgment, and who lived with humility and grace. His presence brought comfort, his laughter brought joy, and his love created a foundation that will endure for generations.
A Remembrance Gathering will be held in Glenn’s honor on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, from 4–7 p.m. at VFW Post 5606, 5406 NE Oak Ridge Drive, Kansas City, MO 64119. Family and friends are welcome to attend, to share stories, celebrate his life, and honor the man who meant so much to so many.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to KC Hospice (12000 Wornall Rd, Kansas City, MO 64145), whose compassionate care supported Glenn in his final days, or to Always & Furever Midwest Animal Rescue, an organization close to the family’s heart.Glenn’s death is a profound loss, but his life remains a testament to love, resilience, and faith. His family expresses their deepest gratitude for the support and prayers offered during this difficult time.
