    Anita’s illness came as a shock, moving quickly and allowing little time for preparation. Yet, in God’s mercy, she did not have to suffer for long. Her strength and grace during her final days were a testament to her character, and her family takes comfort in knowing she is now at peace. Anita was a woman who touched the lives of many. She was genuine, compassionate, and devoted to those she loved. Her presence brought warmth and comfort, and her absence will be felt deeply by all who knew her.     Visiting hours will be held at Roberts Funeral Home in Winthrop on Saturday, November 29, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Family and friends are invited to gather, share memories, and honor Anita’s life. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Anita’s name to Poodle Rescue of New England, P.O. Box 47, Sudbury, MA 01776, an organization close to her heart. This tribute reflects her love for animals and her desire to see them cared for with compassion.

    Though her time was cut short, Anita’s legacy will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.     With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Mrs. Lorrinda Alexander, age 73, of Ovilla, Texas, who went to be with her Heavenly Father on October 28, 2025. Her death has left her family, friends, and community deeply saddened, yet her life remains a shining example of love, faith, and resilience.

    Born on August 23, 1952, Lorrinda lived a life full of kindness, dedication, and joy. She was a woman of remarkable strength, having endured and overcome many health challenges, including multiple transplants. Even in the face of hardship, she carried herself with grace and unwavering faith, inspiring those around her with her courage and perseverance. Lorrinda’s devotion to her family was at the center of her life. She shared a beautiful marriage with her husband, Joseph Vernon Alexander, who stood faithfully by her side through every trial and triumph. Together, they built a life rooted in love, faith, and mutual support. Lorrinda’s compassion extended beyond her family, touching friends, neighbors, and her church community. She was admired for her gentle spirit and her ability to uplift others, even while enduring her own struggles.

    Her faith was her guiding light. Lorrinda lived each day with a deep love for God, and her actions reflected the values she held dear—kindness, humility, and service. She was a beacon of hope and encouragement, reminding those around her of the importance of trust in God’s plan.

    A memorial service will be held in her honor on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at DeSoto Presbyterian Church, 212 W. Pleasant Run Road, DeSoto, Texas 75115. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that gifts in memory of Lorrinda be made to the church. Donations may be sent to DeSoto Presbyterian Church, PO Box 548, DeSoto, Texas 75123.

    A Remembrance Gathering will be held in Glenn’s honor on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, from 4–7 p.m. at VFW Post 5606, 5406 NE Oak Ridge Drive, Kansas City, MO 64119. Family and friends are welcome to attend, to share stories, celebrate his life, and honor the man who meant so much to so many.

    In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to KC Hospice (12000 Wornall Rd, Kansas City, MO 64145), whose compassionate care supported Glenn in his final days, or to Always & Furever Midwest Animal Rescue, an organization close to the family’s heart.Glenn’s death is a profound loss, but his life remains a testament to love, resilience, and faith. His family expresses their deepest gratitude for the support and prayers offered during this difficult time.
